Slate goes start-up

Slate, the leading admissions technology, has welcomed EdTech start-up Unibuddy into its roster of Preferred Platinum Partners.


At three years old, Unibuddy is the youngest company to pass the comprehensive application process and meet the rigorous requirements to become a preferred partner. 


Unibuddy joins eight other companies, including Niche, EAB and WayBetter Marketing. 


Slate, created by software development firm Technolutions, is the leading higher ed solution for communication, events management, data collection and more. 
The partnership marks another step in Unibuddy’s rapid growth in the U.S. Higher Education sector. 


In October of last year, the company revealed a first-of-its-kind partnership with Study in the USA. And so far in 2021, Unibuddy has celebrated passing significant milestones, including 400 global university partners. 


Unibuddy and Slate’s partnership will enable universities and colleges to democratize critical student data across their tech stack. Customers can draw the full student journey at every stage of the student recruitment lifecycle. What’s more, this relationship helps the Unibuddy team grow its expertise on the Slate technology to better serve customers in realizing the full potential. 


Slate and Unibuddy will also introduce a full, seamless integration, granting customers better access to prospect data, an analytical understanding of their admissions funnel, and better visibility in measuring marketing ROI.
